Jin Factory의 ASCII Cam은 카메라 촬영물과 사용자가 선택해 가져온 사진·동영상을 기기 안에서 ASCII 효과로 변환합니다. 개발자는 앱을 통해 개인정보나 사진·동영상을 수집하지 않습니다.
카메라, 마이크, 사진 권한
- 카메라: 미리보기, 사진 촬영, 동영상 녹화에 사용합니다.
- 마이크: 사용자가 오디오를 켠 동영상을 녹화할 때 사용합니다. 권한을 거부해도 무음 동영상을 촬영할 수 있습니다. 가져온 동영상의 기존 오디오를 유지하는 데에는 마이크 권한이 필요하지 않습니다.
- 사진·동영상 가져오기: Apple의 시스템 사진 선택기에서 사용자가 직접 선택한 항목만 읽어 기기에서 ASCII로 변환합니다. 선택하지 않은 보관함 전체를 검색하거나 사진·동영상 내용을 분석하지 않습니다. 원본을 수정하지 않고 새 사본을 만듭니다.
- 사진 보관함 저장: 촬영물과 변환한 새 사본을 사진 앱의 ASCII Cam 앨범에 자동 저장합니다. 기존 ASCII Cam 앨범을 확인·재사용하거나 새로 만들고 결과물을 추가하기 위해 읽기/쓰기 권한을 요청합니다. 사용자가 허용한 범위 안에서 앨범을 관리하며 사진·동영상을 개발자 서버로 전송하지 않습니다.
사진·동영상과 설정 저장
촬영물, 가져온 파일의 변환용 사본, 변환 결과, 썸네일과 설정은 기기에서 처리·저장됩니다. 앱 안의 갤러리는 앱에서 만든 파일을 표시합니다. 사진 보관함 권한이 제한되거나 사진 앱 저장에 실패해도 완료된 결과물은 앱 안에 유지됩니다. 사진·동영상은 사용자가 직접 공유할 때 선택한 앱이나 서비스로 전달됩니다. 해당 서비스의 데이터 처리는 그 서비스의 정책을 따릅니다.
네트워크와 제3자 서비스
ASCII 변환은 기기에서 처리하며 앱 자체는 사진·동영상을 서버로 전송하지 않습니다. 계정, 광고, 분석 SDK, 사용자 추적을 사용하지 않습니다. 선택한 원본이 iCloud에 있는 경우 Apple의 사진 서비스가 해당 항목을 내려받을 수 있습니다. 사진 앱 또는 기기 백업에 저장된 데이터는 사용자가 선택한 Apple 설정에 따라 동기화되거나 백업될 수 있습니다.
보관과 삭제
앱에 저장된 촬영물은 앱에서 삭제할 수 있습니다. 앱 삭제 시 앱 전용 저장소도 삭제됩니다. 앱에서 촬영물을 삭제해도 사진 앱의 사본은 함께 삭제되지 않습니다. 사진 앱으로 저장하거나 다른 서비스로 공유한 사본은 해당 앱이나 서비스에서 별도로 삭제해야 합니다. 운영체제의 백업 사본은 사용자의 백업 설정에 따릅니다.

ASCII Cam by Jin Factory turns camera captures and photos or videos you choose to import into ASCII art on your device. The developer does not collect personal information or media through the app.
Permissions
- Camera: Used for the live preview, photos, and video recording.
- Microphone: Used when you choose to record video with audio. Silent recording is available without microphone permission. Keeping the existing audio of an imported video does not require microphone permission.
- Photo and video import: Apple's system photo picker gives the app the items you explicitly select for ASCII processing on your device. The app does not scan or analyze the contents of unselected library items. It creates a new copy without modifying the original.
- Saving to Photos: Captures and newly converted copies are automatically saved to the ASCII Cam album in Photos. Read/write permission is requested to find and reuse that album, create it when needed, and add results. The app manages the album within the access you allow and does not send media to a developer server.
Local files and sharing
Captures, working copies of imported files, converted results, thumbnails, and preferences are processed and stored on your device. The in-app gallery displays files created by the app. A completed result remains in the app if photo library access is limited or saving to Photos fails. Media is sent to another app or service only when you choose to share it. That destination's privacy policy applies to its processing of the shared media.
Network and third parties
ASCII processing happens on the device. The app does not upload media to a developer server and has no accounts, advertising, analytics SDKs, or tracking. If a selected original is stored in iCloud, Apple's Photos service may download that item. Media in Photos or device backups may sync or be backed up according to your Apple settings.
Retention and deletion
You can delete captures from the app. Deleting the app removes its private local storage. Deleting a capture in the app does not also delete its copy in Photos. Copies saved to Photos or shared elsewhere must be deleted separately in those destinations. Operating-system backup copies follow your backup settings.
