Autoscripts focuses on the everyday work around userscripts: reading metadata, checking permissions, editing source, importing from files or URLs, and deciding exactly when a script is allowed to run.

Permission first

Review match patterns, grants, connect domains, resources, and update sources before enabling a script.

Native library

Search, tag, sort, bulk edit, export, and back up your script library from the host app.

Extension runtime

The Web Extension matches active pages, applies safe-mode and blacklist rules, and runs supported GM APIs.

Local-first by default

Autoscripts does not operate a script hosting service, recommendation feed, account system, analytics pipeline, ad SDK, or subscription backend.

Scripts and metadata are stored in local app storage and the shared extension container.
Backup files are saved only when you choose a Files or iCloud Drive location.
Cross-origin requests require script metadata and an explicit per-script allowlist.
Safe Mode, site blacklist, and per-site disables remain execution blockers.
Imported userscripts are treated as privileged code you choose to install.

The app is planned as a Universal Purchase for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, with native hosts and Web Extension targets for mobile and desktop browsing.
