Privacy Policy

mosaiccy processes imported photos on your device. The app does not upload photos, face rectangles, eye landmarks, manual mask regions, previews, or exported images to a server.

Data Collection

mosaiccy does not collect, sell, or share personal data. The app has no account system, advertising SDK, tracking SDK, analytics SDK, subscription, cloud sync, or developer-operated server upload.

Face Data

mosaiccy does not collect face data for the developer. Face detection runs locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple Vision and Core Image. During editing, the app may create on-device face candidates such as normalized face rectangles, optional eye rectangles or landmarks, confidence values, selection state, and mask style settings so you can review and mosaic selected areas.

This face data is used only to show editable regions, create face or eye mosaic masks, preview the result, restore your local draft when possible, and export an edited copy when you choose to export. It is not used for identity recognition, face matching, authentication, profiling, advertising, analytics, or training machine learning models.

Face data is not shared with third parties and is not sent to Jin Factory or any server. Temporary imported image data and generated previews remain in app memory while you edit. If draft restore is available, mosaiccy stores only local draft state on the device, such as the Photos asset identifier, normalized face and eye rectangles, manual regions, selected faces, style settings, and export settings. It does not store the original photo bytes in the draft.

Face data is retained only on your device. In-memory face data is cleared when you close or replace the editing session. Local draft state remains on the device only to support draft restore and is replaced by later edits or removed when the app is deleted. Exported edited copies are created only when you choose to export and are saved to the destination you select.

Photo Processing

• Photos are imported only when you choose them from Photos or Files.
• Face and eye detection uses Apple Vision on device.
• Optional vehicle plate area help is off by default and runs on device only when enabled in Settings.
• Draft restore stores a Photos asset reference and editing state, not the original image bytes.
• Exports are edited copies. The original photo is not overwritten.
